Floating & Still Life

I'm never bored when I have my camera!

As I clicked through Pinterest one cold and rainy day, a photo caught my eye - it was floating - or levitating - food, and I had to find out how it was done.

​

After a deep dive online, I gathered some ingredients and other required tools (shhh, I'll never tell!) and created my first floating food photograph. 

​

That first photo wasn't particularly portfolio-worthy, but it did inspire me to keep learning and practicing. Some of the results of that work are displayed here.

Not everything in the studio has to float, and I've also included some of those photos here as well.
